This ruling should apply only to a company that has a revenue over say 10 million. That way it will provide competition to the market at the same time taking care of drivers not being exploited. win win scenario.
Our company experimented for 4 months and found productivity is much higher and the only people who were unhappy were the managers. Our CEO jokingly said while the devs have become more productive after about 3 weeks he had no idea what managers were doing. Except managers everyone was laughing pretty hard. In my experience working in about 4 companies managers are the gatekeepers for not allowing WFH.
3blue1brown himself has told in his videos that they are not substitute for books and working out the exercise and he recommends reading from books and his videos are for inspiration and as a supplement.
He did not even acknowledge the death of 13 people getting shot(including a higher secondary school girl) in the protest against a corporation. As a Prime Minister of a country this is the least expected .
On a slightly different note, why is the standard not free. I mean not the C++20 but atleast the C++11 standard should be available freely as a single authoritative source.
But the world is built on C++ and there are no alternatives for it. C is too low level and Rust has garbage collector which may not be fit for the domain C++ is suitable for. No alternatives in the domains where C++ shines.
I use i3 on rooted chrome book and its amazing. I also use it on a 21 inch monitor its still amazing. It's so light weight, boots very quickly, uses all of the pixels and loading the new configuration is extremely simple. Just edit ~/.config/i3/config file and press Win-shift-R it loads the new configuration, basically very easy to experiment. Thanks so much Michael Stapelberg(https://michael.stapelberg.ch/) for this amazing software.
> China has, for better or worse, sacrificed Wuhan to buy the rest of the country and the world
The point is centralized authority is worse. In a democratic country he would have had warned quicker and his life sacrifice would have made more meaningful.
> from my subjective point of view, people seem to treat it as an extra vacation.
Every middle level managers job is depending on this belief. Once they accept people can work from home, their job becomes extinct its understandable but not true.
With React hooks or android component life cycle its hard separate the framework and logic. How do you do it ? Any recommended books or other resources ?
