Good on you for sticking with it. I too tried launching a similar service in this market, you’re right, the “big boys” marketing is everywhere and drowns out smaller service providers. Keep going, good luck.
On OSX, there are Safari App Extensions. They’re not as user customizable as extensions on Chrome but they do exist. In fact I recently release my own Safari Ad-tracking blocker on the Mac App Store.
Yes! I did this today =) it's a lot easier for me to switch tasks if I work my side project first thing in the morning, but it takes quite a bit of effort to get going for me as I'm not a morning person.
Currently using Sinatra in my latest side project. I realize it's no longer the heyday of Ruby, but for simple apps its easy to get started and enables the possibility of using the vast amounts of Ruby gems in my project.
I built http://highbetastocks.com as a way to scratch my own itch (was too lazy to have to login to my brokerage account every time I wanted this info). And in the process learned a little bit of Meteor js ^_^
Generally, when flaps and slats are extended, they increase the camber of the airfoil, increasing the Coefficient of Lift for the same AoA. Also, the air gaps introduced at the junctions between slats/flaps and the main wing re-energize the boundary layer on the top surface of the wing to retard flow separation on the upper surface (becomes a concern because of the increased camber).
I have one. I bought a domain to have a personalized email address and decided I'd throw something up. It's an 'about me' page, but I still guide folks to my LinkedIn page instead. I am planning to add a blog, mostly to document / comment snippets of code I find myself reusing.
Like already mentioned, sleep. In addition to that, most recently I found that listening to "Tibetan singing bowls" (random Spotify playlist I found) helps keep me in the zone.
