My research was in this direction. We already know that these analog neural chips could be orders of magnitude faster than digital equivalents. There is also a lot of military research going on in this area for few decades. However architecture innovations are much faster on software level and dedicated hardware approaches have not been able to catch up. Once things slow down on software level, slowly hardware llms could become the norm.
Not to defend Apple watch or other smart watches, but they have been my dream since my childhood watching James Bond movies. So I love both mechanical watches for their engineering and smart watches for what they bring to the table. We dont have to diss one to make the other feel better.
You are lucky. I had problems with samsung, motorola and with the new "nokia" android phones, All probably solvable, but support is not their priority.
I am moving from Android to Apple ecosystem. I got an IPAD air 2 in 2015-16 and it still works without any hiccups, I had changed 3 Android phones in this time. Happy with my iPhone SE2 now.
