The place I wanted to get a puppy from said that they didn't take reservations for the upcoming puppies until they were born. The only way to know when they were born was to check their website and then give them a call.
So the tiny program I wrote kept checking a webpage and whenever it changed content, it would sende a text message "PUPPY ALERT!".
A few hours after I deployed the program, I got message so I thought it had a bug, but no, the puppies had just been born <3
Yep yep. Your points are all valid and true, as far as I can see.
I think it would be interesting of governments started using this tech (Blockchain, smart contracts, etc) to improve existing systems. To me, I can see this tech being used to improve infrastructure in a lot of public services (library cards, driver license registry, etc)
Estonia has been doing that. I bet there is something that other countries can learn about what works and what doesn't
with a system like this, you can tap into a sign in station and give them access.
Doctors can also send you any documents they generate and it gets stored in your POD.
