Funny how, guided by pure mechanical necessity, pretty stuff can arise.

I've always thought that clockwork, chips and other machines were pretty.

Which leads me to consider what isn't pretty. Naivety?

I was doing up some 1bit patterns this one time. Like 8s and 16s and whatever.

Swastikas make a nice pattern. Ya I know. But there are actually only like 7 really good strong patterns and swastikas is one of them.

Concentration causes your perception to penetrate things. What you observe dissolves, its former appearance a mere veil, parted, to reveal another appearance. And then that veil is parted. And so on.

The process could be described as a penetrating, blooming or revealing.

Technology, its development and production, is one thing that they control.

The rest of the population (the nonbillionaires) is another thing that they seek to control. It's near the top of their list.

Phones, internet and social media are tools for controlling us. Arguably. Right?
