Google could very well be a one hit wonder. Coming from someone who works at a company with one successful product and many failed ones: Maybe they are too wealthy to want a second success. Life is cozy.
One of my family members was dying and extremely anxious in hospice. The person reflected on their life and wanted to make amends with some people.
I believe something like a psychedelic would’ve provided clarity. It could’ve been traumatizing, but it could’ve worked too. Patients should have a choice to accept the risk.
I had a similar experience in school, it still impacts me today. I don’t recognize authority for authority’s sake, only what I feel is reasonable and just. It’s liberating.
