While I loved this quote (because I aligns with my opinion), it doesn't look it is from Einstein. At least searching for it in google I've found quite a few pages precisely debunking this attribution. Jujutsu is a Git-compatible DVCS. It combines features from Git (data model, speed), Mercurial (anonymous branching, simple CLI free from "the index", revsets, powerful history-rewriting), and Pijul/Darcs (first-class conflicts), with features not found in most of them (working-copy-as-a-commit, undo functionality, automatic rebase, safe replication via rsync, Dropbox, or distributed file system).

And yes, I agree the house problem is a supply-vs-demand issue. And this is not addressing the core problem. But in a place with extremely low rent vacancy [2], having units removed from the market for STR isn't helping.
