noise cancelling is one thing but im assuming youre looking for something to cut you off while you work, which also means long periods wearing them.
in my opinion the best option is actually isolation and to that end a pair of earbuds with a set of custom fit tips could be a good option, i have some myself on a pair of etymotic er4 and theyre spectacular, complete isolation from outside sound and comfortable enough to wear for 8 straight hours
yep its true and very possible, while i have not tried street heroin i have tried the pharmaceutical version of it along with other opiates both weaker and stronger. ive also tried just about anything you could name but im not addicted to anything and never have been, i have a solid job and have never been in any trouble with the police etc
so you can trust me when i say there is no such thing as a "if you do it once youre hooked forever" chemical or certainly not in the 100+ unique psychoactive chemicals i have tried.
living a healthy life does not guarantee you a life free of health problems. but fair enough if they must restrict it have a licence system whereby people apply for the substances they wish to use and have to pass a test that confirms their basic understanding of the chemicals, if properly educated the vast majority of people would be responsible just as they are when driving a car
this exactly, in my younger years i developed quite the interest in psychoactive substances and went out of my way to try a very large variety of them, far more than your average person could name (134 different substances to be accurate) yet i have never been addicted to anything, i have no criminal record and have never suffered any ill health due to my usage.
if taking drugs was guaranteed to cause problems id certainly have been subject to them and while i am no longer actively searching these things out or experimenting i will dabble from time to time, yet im still a "functioning member of society"
this is an issue ive seen raised a lot lately and something a mycologist friend of mine has been championing for years, being a curious cat i decided to experiment with it and while it offers some benefits id personally argue that its not as effective as the likes of modafinil or ADHD medication such as amphetamines or methylphenidate.
it also comes with the extra added issue that its very easy to accidentally end up having taken too much, unless you happen to be a very well equipped chemist then youre probably not the one measuring your doses not to mention the potential variability of effects between different synths of the chemical
during my experiment i think one tab must have been slightly higher dosed than the others resulting in a small "i need to get the hell out of here now!" moment in the supermarket, not enough that anyone would have noticed and it was gone pretty quickly but it highlighted the potential shortcomings of a chemical thats so potent and can much more significantly alter your perception than straight stimulants can.
i dont even need to go that far, looking closer to home there are plenty of reasons, imagining i had a partner who made around the same as me could we afford for one of us to quit work to look after the kid? no, could we afford to pay someone to look after it? no, even affording the extra costs of supporting a non working human being like food and clothes etc would put incredible strain on the financial situation.
of course in that situation there would be a ton of benefits i could claim that would make it more affordable but why should i expect other people to pay out for my desire to have a child i cant afford?
having had a fair amount of experience of the british healthcare system i find this very hard to believe, ive been treated like shit by them many times, been talked into an operation i didnt really want (i think they were extra keen because its a rare condition) which they then managed to screw up and cripple me.
another little gem is my current insurance claim, i was knocked off my motorbike over a year ago, yet i still havent received a payout from my insurance, id assumed their lawyers were dragging the process out but by this point she has been convicted, my insurance company have been paid by hers but i still havent had anything back, when i asked my lawyer what was holding it up he said it was just one thing they need, they are still awaiting the medical records from my GP which were requested and paid for back in September but despite monthly attempts to get them to send it they still havent done so and every time i try and contact them to ask why im told that the medical secretary isnt in at the moment and only she can deal with it, but they will tell her to call me as soon as she gets back in, i have yet to receive a single call from them.
i could go on to site a ton of other various reports of shit service that i have personally experienced let alone that of others i know. if i was insurable id have taken private medical insurance long ago and still strongly advise any healthy person in the UK to get private medical insurance ASAP, sure its an extra cost no one wants to pay but if you ever do get sick youll be damn glad you have it
surely you can just cash them in, as far as im aware no one has been done for legitimately owning and selling bitcoin, i could be wrong of course and i have no idea about the US tax system.
i dont think it would exactly be fair to punish anyone for doing it, its not like people get taught what to do if a life changing amount of cash came their way. if it were me id have cashed em in already and be flying off on holiday! (well you could just do that with bitcoin of course)
also maybe consider saving some, the investment has paid off so far why not let it ride? (not all of it of course)
the more i hear about OpenBSD the more i like it, i really should do more with it as my current experience begins and ends at using pfsense (well and a PS4 which i believe runs a BSD based OS if you count that)
are you writing this from a timewarp and youre stuck in 2012? i have personally bought loads of stuff with BTC ranging from coffee to headphones to international flights and hotel bookings.
its also a pretty flawed comment when its already accepted on something as huge as steam, and at places like CEX, BIC camera and a growing list of other retailers.
and you say none of the true believers want to spend theirs, im sorry but youre wrong there too, ive been heavily into bitcoin since about 2011, but ive always been of the belief that if nobody uses them then they will never become a currency so i always spent mine (if id saved even 10% of what ive mined id be a millionaire by now but c'est la vie) im certain i am not the only person who shares this belief.
cool but id like to see it taken a little further, run three simultaneous systems, one on stock, one on forex and one on cryptocurrencies and see which one comes out on top (or more likely which one takes longest to lose most of its initial stake)
in terms of ADHD Vyvanse/Elvanse/Lisdexamphetamine is more interesting in my opinion, its dexamphetamine bound to lysene. your body naturally strips the lysene away releasing the dexamphetamine over a period of 12 hours.
it doesnt rely on being mixed with something to delay its action or be pressed into a solid pill, in fact you can open up the capsules and eat the powder inside and there is no change in its effects (its also ineffective intranasally or as far as i am aware even if injected) its rate of release is difficult to change, its just how long the average body takes to strip the lysene away from the chemical.
isnt he Samoan by birth meaning he cant run for president? im no expert on US politics but if memory serves the reason Arnie could never actually run was that you had to be US born to be president (i may be completely wrong here though)
last time i was in a hospital a mere few months ago i saw quite a lot of machines still running XP which i thought was kind of beyond a joke in 2017, maybe now theyll actually upgrade them
no, its just a morning brainfart, the most ive had is someone mentioning in an interview that they couldnt find me online. it just struck me as something which may cause an issue, i too have made a point of never having had a social media account in my life, i was just wondering how recruiters and managers etc felt if they did their checks on only to find absolutely nothing
have you done that trip yet? if not i envy you. make sure to head to the outskirts of tokyo and check out kamakura and the awesome kawasaki warehouse before you leave
