If so many people are leaving cities, they certainly aren’t leaving Boston given the tight supply and huge increases in prices. However our city is a lot more livable than SF and NYC, in my opinion.
Honestly, results are not surprising. Most people who would move out of the city for teleworking would probably move to cheaper suburbs for two main reasons:
1) They might need to head into the office for facetime in situations where working abroad does not work.
2) They still have access to amenities they are use to having without paying the price of living downtown.
