While I have never tried psychedelics or anything close to it, this episode of Tim Ferriss' podcast seems to cover this subject extensively, with some discussions on problem solving and creativity.
As has been suggested by others, your best bet is to become a sole trader ("empresário em nome invidual").
By becoming one, you then have the choice of having what's called "Contabilidade organizada" (roughly translated, Organized Accounts) or not. To start, you can do just fine without this. It'll probably be cheaper too.
As for taxes, you'll have to pay IRS and VAT, but the later is only if you cross 10 000€ in annual revenue. During the first year as a sole trader you don't have to pay Social Security.
