Some Jewish slaves in no way corroborates "all of Israel was enslaved". The latter is demonstrably false. Jewish immigrants were hired, paid, and in some cases promoted to positions of wealth and authority.

Finding a silver lining in a bad cloud doesn't justify the bad cloud one bit.

OP didn't say they blended until it was cooked to custard. It's a non-trivial step you added.

> I have nothing good to say about the USDA or FDA.

They have saved thousands or millions of US lives. But hey, they've inconvenienced your profit lines, so boo on them.

Like that complete FRAUD, Leonardo da Vinci, who simply repainted a depiction of 12 apostles seated on one side of a dinner table, with their leader Jesus at the center.

He didn't even create the pigments - those were formed by natural Earth geology!

Checkmate, science!

Odd. Rescue personnel aren't typically high enough to see in through the windows.

The comment you are replying to is a reference to a famous comedy skit (about the whole front of an oceanliner falling off, and the official company response).

Duh, by saying things Xi perceives as disloyal... which in China can be something as bizarre as posting a picture of Winnie the Pooh.

China isn't afraid to assassinate them there. They'll have to live their lives behind bulletproof glass, mistrusting servants and visitors.

I mean, live that way on $325 million. But yeah.

As flatpandas[0] points out, this might in fact be the best possible practical outcome.

I thought the problem was primarily galvanic activity between copper and aluminum, not thermal growth. A bit of searching says this is so in environments with any wetting or very high humidity. The increased resistivity of aluminum's oxide layer is also part of it.

Basically: they just don't play well together.

Dance. Sex. Climbing things. Playing a sport you enjoy.

Demonstrably wrong.

Control is needed in directionality, which is pretty much solved - few tsunamis originate inland.

That's what I understand to be the usual interpretation of nominative determinism.

Some studies have shown statistically significant effects from having aptonyms. More than the expected number of dentists named Payne, etc.

Solid aluminum, not foil. Foil is terribly wasteful, due to oxidation (existing and created by the melting process).

Expert fallacy: I know a lot about X, so I'm also an expert on adjoining topics V, W, Y, and Z. Also on topic "ecks". And "x-rays". And "excerpts" and "excommunication". Ah, hell: I'm smarter than most, so I'm usually right. Especially about things I'm sure I right about.
