I miss the days when Bill Roper was there.

The fact that they repolished D2 into a game absolutely worth playing today on modern hardware, gorgeously really shows how good he was. And tbf, how good the graphics team is. D2R is a wonderful game, and the fact that the same old (but great) engine is actually still running is kinda incredible.

I wish OW2 was a gem like that. A friend and I have over 1k hours each into OW1.

I think someone's just been steeped in academia a little too long.

I've been donating to the EFF for years now. Sadly the ACLU is anti-civil liberties these days.

>I genuinely don’t understand why people feel the need to shove their ideology down peoples throat every chance they get.

They're in a cult and they don't realize it. Woke politics has every negative hallmark of a cult. Original sin, excommunication, heresy...

This is really common all over the internet, not just wikipedia.

Look who's actually dominating the reddit sub "actuallesbians": https://subredditstats.com/subreddit-user-overlaps/actualles...

Thanks for pointing that out! I'd heard it from Snowden, but didn't realize he wasn't the original source: https://twitter.com/theyesmen/status/652963715168534528

I've never known anyone who wasn't a programmer who even knew the difference between say, PST and PDT. Like, if they didn't schedule it through a computer with up to date timezone code, I would confirm verbally.

The navy has $100K keyboards. I've touched them with my own hands. And this was in 2004 money.

And every one of the puzzles on there is by definition a solved problem. If the company went under and all of their code and website was lost, I would cheer.

The only sort function I could write is probably bubble sort. Why? Because more efficient ones out there already exist and I could google them and paste 1000x faster than I could write them.

Lazy programmers are efficient. Puzzle solving masturbators waste a ton of time.
