There is a setting under settings/advanced called 'join user experience program' which is on by default. Does this have anything to do with this data collection?
I feel like it's all related to your passion for the product. If you really love your side project, it's pretty likely it will be over-engineered. Whereas if you aren't that into it, it's much more likely to be under-enginered.
Do you guys think they will wait until January 2018 to release the t480 series? I was torn between the t470p and t470 because of the quad core and finally decided on the t470 for the battery life and size (no t470s/x1 carbon because I already have 1tb 2.5" ssd)
Novice here: I really want to try this Starcraft API but I don't know how to start. I believe this uses more reinforcement learning and agent-based models (which honestly I am not familiar with yet) What are good papers to get started on this?
When I was a newbie, I would often say things like "maybe the compiler is broken" or "maybe the cpu is doing it wrong."
Of course, it was never the tools. it was always me.
Years later, of course, I work on unreleased hardware. And yeah, sometimes it's broken. It's really fucking odd. Write C code, and holy shit, it's actually a compiler bug or CPU bug.
Life was simpler when I was just ignorant and egotistical. Now I'm... well, still ignorant and egotistical, I guess, but often deal with actual hardware bugs.
What is wrong with the Bancor team defending themselves from unjustified, and close to vulgar, criticism? They gave very clear arguments, and you try to turn it into an emotional fight.
As a professor you should use exclusively rational arguments, and under NO circumstances emotional manipulation. It seems you've been paid enough to do the opposite. Shame on you!
