Hard to argue with that.

Any difference in performance on mobile development?

That's the way things have to go. Business risk is too high having everything ran over exposed networks.

What is your use case for BSD?

I dunno. I just learned what 'mogged' means 2 days ago. So probably not far.

I wonder if the 100 million dollar guys got a signing bonus like athletes. Just take 10 mill and chuck up deuces.

Doesn't Europe allow Chinese vehicles in their market? At least they admit it.

This isn't only reflected in educational standards. I've seen a ton more restrictions in traffic and speed limits in more affluent areas, and higher/less blatant enforcement in poorer areas, even when the poorer areas are more populated with children.

I think the ai angle for warfare is overhyped. Most of the autonomous drone stuff happening in Ukraine is not running on bleeding edge nodes. It's radxa sbcs with process nodes from 10 years ago.

Facts. Dedicated dsp chips face a shrinking market for audio with sbcs being so powerful these days.

My 1st manager was a tool, was pretty degrading with language toward me, etc. I realize now it was partially my fault, and also the guy just coded all day and wasnt necessarily all that bad of a guy, he just was horrible at communication and managing someone coming out of school with minimal real world dev experience.

Yeah, but I've been around the block enough times to avoid those types of bugs.

Ugh. You've basically made the case for me doing my next project in c++ 17 instead of using it as an excuse to learn Rust. Im morally opposed to c++....

I quit a prior gig because of this. A job I was working on for a few years brought in new management and they started nanomanaging every code commit. After 3 years of building trust, I felt the contract had been broken and quit with nothing else lined up but faith in my abilities. Turned out well.

The thing that Azure has over AWS, imo, is the integration it has with Visual Studio.

I was away for awhile...came back and was shocked at the level of political bickering and posts that were allowed to stay. A lot of the old members have moved on, it's a different place these days. Such is life.

No argument here, hence my constaclicking.
