In that case you are going to find that you quickly lose your best devs. I'm not saying that resume building should be even within the top 5 priorities, but you will want to at least keep it in the back of your mind. It's a balancing act.
Otherwise the solution is to crunch-time people into oblivion and and quickly replace them when they burn out. Not exactly sustainable

On the flip side, if you were a customer and said developer was purposely scheduling unknown length tasks once every 10 minutes, knowing full well that this would happen, how long would you remain a customer?
It would be interesting to see what would happen if Facebook were to use this technology in their mobile app. I'd imagine that you'd be as close to saturation as your going to get.
Out of curiosity, how much does it typically cost to charge, say, an iPhone5? For some (many?) doubling this price might not be as much of a non-starter as you think.
The problem is that multiple changes we made at the same time in that school:
1) Giving Teaches more time for training and planing
2) Making students wear uniforms
3) Aligning the curriculum with more rigorous state standards
4) Drop the sports program
Then spends the rest of the article giving all the credit for the improved test scores to a lack of sports.
I begrudgingly understand the delta in content from region to region due to licensing deals. But can anyone explain to me why they would do the same with functionality that wouldn't fall under any such licensing deals?
This has to be one of the biggest mistakes MS has made with Windows 8. They've added the store to (theoretically) make it simple to purchase and play games (and apps), but left out support that many people would prefer when playing these games.
