Austin Powers hung a lampshade on that very effectively:

Dr. Evil: Mr. President, after I destroy Washington D.C. I will destroy another major city every hour on the hour. That is, unless, of course, you pay me

[emphasis]

Dr. Evil: one hundred billion dollars.

The President: [bursts with laughter] Dr. Evil, this is 1969! That amount of money doesn't even exist.

[laughing]

The President: That's like saying, [with changed voice]

The President: "I want a kajillion bajillion dollars."

Yes I think when the social media bans (e.g. Australia, UK) are mentioned _this_ is the context that the conversation is missing.

I'm not sure that's a particularly difficult insight.

I'm astonished I had to wade through so many other replies to find this one. I had never considered I might be doing things abnormally when I turned my machine off at the end of the day.

If nothing else, think of the power usage!

Your last paragraph is why I no longer have my lenses thinned. It's cheaper too!

"Damn, this is creepy level though & generally I’m all for ads knowing everything about me. Putting my wife’s profile pic in an ad is too much"

Presumably this reply is a joke?

I'm interested as to why you have targeted Windows for this. Do you sit in your living room with a laptop open whilst watching television?

They're called "wet signatures"

"However, many jurisdictions still require a wet signature. For instance, in the US and Canada, notarized documents require signatures in wet ink. Similarly, documents in areas such as family law, wills, trusts, or banking also require physical signatures. In the UK, tax authorities require a wet signature for any tax documents filed by a British resident."

I hear this argument, but can't believe the content filters are so crap they can't detect simple letter replacements like that.

And then my wife can't tell the difference between 576p and 2160p, so I guess everyone is different.
