I didn't see The Privacy, Security, & OSINT Show by Michale Bazell. Any opinions on it? The Drive - Peter Attia. Happy Path Programming - Bruce Eckel

I'm sharing a name and surname with a (Bulgarian) criminal. Not sure what to do since it's not a problem so far and google doesn't show any of my pictures.

Saying so with your real name and blog? Good luck.

It has a lot of pointless content and it seems like there are always better sources than it. Maybe their user base grows but the quality of answers drops.

I have the same feeling about the UI. The last time I tried watching a course was easier to find the videos on youtube(the author had uploaded them there as well).

I always check the topics on Bellard here on HN, really insightful.

Let's don't forget the obligatory: "Can he invert a binary tree on a whiteboard though?"

It's something that must be said, even if they did only a summer internship.

On every technical talk, there's at least one presenter bragging about previous experience at FAANG. No exceptions, always 1 slide.

Here is a quote from "The Tale of J. Random Newbie" by ESR:

"He had heard in college that in industry, a hundred lines of finished code a week is considered good performance."

DSA and competitive programming can be quite engaging as well but doing it for whiteboarding and cracking interviews is horrible.

People should take sleep and rest seriously. No smartphones and inet after 10PM, no in the weekends, no on vacations, no online entertainments.

Can you give some examples of the bigger part of the tech industry without supporting legacy systems, government IT and academia? I feel companies are having very similar business models because all get from the same pool of money.

My mail issue with Medium, except the paywall, is the clutter. It feels like all the articles are having big, usually unrelated images that make the whole site inclined toward sensationalism.

It's great if you know them, but you can put "Every programmer should know" on everything you use daily and post it. It looks like the clickbait articles "N books every programmer should read" and see the thick books on algorithms.

I have the same feeling. In most cases you do the job without any external libs which is rarely the case with other programming languages.
