Yes, and while I love that this happened, I'm also curious if they're actually working to integrate it into Maps, or simply make Weather more accurate of an app.

This might be why Product Hunt's favicon is no longer loading for me. Must be getting blocked.

I don't know if I'm impervious to burnout, or I'm just constantly in a state of depression and this is my "normal", but I don't suffer from the same issues as most who WFH.

I work where I play. My work computer is my gaming laptop (separate partitions). I use the same desk/streaming station. Sometimes I work from bed. And I never feel the urge to "work just one more hour".

I've never had an issue flipping between work and play mode, and I've never struggled to compartmentalize the two fully and switch context when 5PM hits.

As for going out, sure, I miss it. But I'm also a bit of a homebody, so I'm not missing TOO much. My VR headset has helped me feel safe in being able to explore our world and other worlds. As for isolation, I typically have a Twitch stream open for background.

I say this to reinforce what OP points out. If the government disagrees with something, they can now simply rewrite a law to enable their censorship. That is scary, given they don't have a definitive law protecting people from government censorship.

But will anyone really miss him?

Ah, Poland. The next 1930s Germany.

You don't have guaranteed freedom of speech.

You only have your speech protected from government infringement.

Twitter is not the government, and you waived your rights in their terms of service.

Giving society complete freedom is like asking for a body to exist without an immune system--cancerous ideas and movements will exist unchecked and feast on more of society.

Stop. Saying. You. Need. More. Freedom.

Mice are very analogous to humans. There’s a reason they’re the most used animal model in experiments.

Fuck that site. Now they’ll all just float back to /r/conservative and tear that entire sub apart.

Yeah. SARS-CoV-2 has proven to be about near the perfect virus this year.

Lots of truth here. I’ve always wondered “to what end” do humans and economies compete. Everyone dies in the end. I’d rather not slave away my limited time in this universe thinking that my work in design systems is really doing anything other than automating parts of a designer/developer’s job.

It seems stupid to toil. Humans should be smart enough to invent an economic system that provides for everyone, leaves none unhoused, and doesn’t force 40+ hour weeks on us. The problem is that someone will always run against the grain of standardization of something like this to exploit someone and profit outside the lines.

If you have to team up against antitrust action, you're DEFINITELY doing the definition of monopolizing industries. Tear these companies apart.

“We’re properly resourced and not growing too quickly.”

All of this after saying things are suboptimally distributed.

Austen, you constantly snake your way out of accountability and admitting bad things come from your school. Why don’t you just man up and fix the problems and take a hit to your profit margin? Don’t get into education if it’s a money grab, you dumb schmuck.

This is great and all--and cheers to HTTPS Everywhere fans throughout this thread, but none of you are answering the question "can I uninstall HTTPS Everywhere now as a result of this feature shipping?"

Twitter doesn't point out what's true. They point out what's under dispute.
