I absolutely love boring software. It's a very, very rare quality nowadays.

You can make it so those 2% are dealing with ugly -but functional- layouts

it that reduces development/maintenance cost by a lot, that's not a terrible deal.

Honest question, is there a single successful large investment made by Meta recently ? I just know about the abject failures :)

There is already the very classical grift : you don't sell genai content, you sell "get rich quick with genai" methods. This is where the recursion starts.

Same (2024), but i wouldn't come back in a hurry if they did so. Basically everything works now in Linux world, including my obscure devices, music & video editing, and my whole steam library... with better performance. It's sort of insane.

There is absolutely no "Bun drama", there are just two projects with different goals and methodologies, mutually incompatible. All this thing is just a small bunch of bored, terminally-twitting people ...

In any case, I'm super glad for this milestone (and impressed!).

If you have a lot of "images" with such effects to generate from dynamic text, using SVG makes no sense, is vastly more complex and less flexible than the solution here.

Wow! Very cool. How did it manage to get a knight out as an opening move, for instance? Moving between the pieces, or moving other pieces out of the way?

oh, that's why US has the only working economy in the world ! :)

joking, of course everyone does 'projects, labs, teamwork and papers'. It's just not the main focus of the grading process.

Seems like you're equating 'education' with 'employability training'.

Try multithreaded code, it's wild (how wrong it is). I wonder how/where next models will learn thread safety.
