This is my 6th workshop that I've run on Claude Code. See https://luma.com/np8psjmc for more details.

Thanks

I'd love that! Is that comparison data between models available anywhere?

I condemn this behaviour.

I used ScreenStudio for a year. Then, when my annual subscription was up for renewal I tried https://cap.so/ and https://screensage.pro/

After experiencing many bugs and UX oddities with both of those, I went back to ScreenStudio.

ScreenStudio is reliable and produces the best results for my use case (educational content and client updates)

Why is your first reaction to attack it?

Participating in the maker movement achieved a few things: it signalled you had intellectual curiosity, that you were a man who could do things with his hands, and that you fixed things, rather than bought new - thereby increasing your green credentials.

Vibe coding does none of the above

Never considered this but I'd love this feature

My use case for ChatGPT is to delegate mental effort on certain tasks, so that I can pour my mental energy on to things I truly care about, like family, certain hobbies and relationships.

If you are feeling over reliant on these tools then I quickfix that's worked me is to have real conversations with real people. Organise a coffee date if you must.

The IDE gives me a "human-in-the-loop" experience and conversely, I prefer this for secret sensitive work.

I agree with CLI feeling more deliberate. It could be the lack of "accept" gates (that you get with Cursor, Copilot etc).

This is a really interesting setup.

When you say "switched to Claude Code entirely" do you still make manual edits in a text editor is CC doing 100% of the coding?

Also, you mentioned getting good at prompting - is there anything you do that's not already well documented?

Another often overlooked difference is that non US/UK citizens are typically bilingual, so by definition can access more news sources

I'm a software dev and I'm tired of LLMs being crowbar'd in to every single product I build and use, to the point where they are unanimously and unequivocally used over better, cheaper and simpler solutions.

I'm also tired of people who claim to be excited by AI. They are the dullest of them all.
