I don’t remember real devs around me who would say that programming is easy. My colleague comes up to me and says "you know, mate, programming is easy", something like that? Politicians/media "experts"/programming advocates/managers can say anything, that "programming is easy", "No code/VR/AI/Zettelkasten is a thing", "developers, developers, developers". It's just words from outside. The same if I suddenly began to talk about how easily we can defeat the problem of global warming, for some reason (maybe because I have an outdoor thermometer). We just need to cool down the planet slightly, you know. Plus some events to draw attention to the problem (open up our refrigerators for an hour someday?)[0].
P.S. Ironically, the author also writes about piracy[1] (how bad it is, copying is stealing, her personal story about how he stopped, etc), but has removed the Hugo[2] copyright from footer (can be explained) and even meta info (?). I am not a lawyer, this is probably not a violation at all, but obviusly not a good tone.
