I wouldn't limit yourself to describing it as a game server daemon. It's effectively a IAAS / PAAS platform if you switch to a plugin model for those games.

I like the iterative approach that you took with the post and codebase. It really takes the reader on a journey with you and helps understand the decision points and process of software development, it's so important compared to just showing a final polished solution, after all, we're all trying to replicate the software development process, not the product.
I can barely see the site behind the hugely intrusive adverts on the page. Maybe 30% of the screen real estate is visible on mobile. I don't know how this is usable much less productive.
Not totally related to the above but I have to say I love the vscode dev containers experience.
I am working on a few projects in the clinical research field with complex combinations of languages ,stacks and dependencies and love that we can bundle a complete development environment into the repo along with infra declared via docker compose.
