http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/dtg/android/mock/ is a neat way to stop applications asking for too many permissions getting what they want. It'd be nice if it were being maintained somewhere/possibly pulled into CyanogenMod.
I think one of the differences with Methamphetamine is that it can and generally is smoked which gives a much quicker onset and rush which makes it more addictive.
I feel like expanding that set a little is really only a matter of picking a more distinctive arrangement than a circle. Like 11 would be more readable as 3 vertical lines of 4, then 3, then 4 again. Just varying the shape a little would go a long way towards making them more readable, and you could still fall back to a circle for larger primes.

Why does an open source architecture have to be esoteric? It could just as easily be conventional. We don't know for sure that ARM will be as popular in the future. Presumably aim isn't to teach individual intricacies but rather the overall concepts.
Why would you post a link to an example using floats then? I mean sure, part of the trick involves treating the float as an integer but the number is still meant to be interpreted as a float.
Your assumptions about speed might be true for something like a Nintendo DS which doesn't have a floating point unit but a 3DS does, a vectorised one no less. Also in Javascript integers that can fit into 32 bits are actually integers nowadays.
All in all, I believe your information is outdated.
