The poker game runs entirely in the browser with WebRTC video chat baked in. All logic happens serverside, written in Elixir/Phoenix.

RNG is fully server-side (Elixir). Uses Enum.shuffle/1 (Fisher-Yates) seeded from OS entropy. Fresh shuffle each hand, not deterministic. Frontend only receives dealt cards, no deck access.

I built this because I wanted to listen to Benji B and Essential Mix but BBC recently started geo-blocking everyone outside the UK. Now I just run this behind a UK VPN and get episodes delivered to Overcast like a normal podcast.

They most definitely are.

However this project is so simple it's more akin to a script. Really not that hard to grasp despite not knowing swift.

Also vibe coded an android tv version and used this codebase as input ;)

I built this mainly for myself - I love leaving the Namib Desert live stream on when my TV is idle. Way more interesting than the default screensavers, and it turns the TV into an ambient window to nature.

Or any live stream on youtube for that matter, surprised this didn't exist before!
