I hope Jean Claude Juncker, our great leader of the EU, heavily sanctions the offenders who refuse to abide by the EU regulations and laws. Hopefully he will setup a GDPR 'police' so that offenders can be identified and punished swiftly.

These types of jobs are extremely common in Luxembourg (a small country in EU). The workers stay because they are highly paid.

In my personal experience, people use PHP because it is the only thing that they were taught. NOT because they have considered options and have consciously decided to settle on PHP.
