Weird. They claim Firefox is not supported, but with some user-agent switcharoo it seems to work fine.

Ugh.

Similary, the Hyundai Kona is called the Hyundai Kauai in Portugal as "cona" literally translates to "pussy".

Languages are fun :)

Your attitude is quite unpleasant, teetering on the edge of ableism. Some people (myself included) are just very sensitive to RSI. I get up and about plenty, but without my ergodox keyboard and mx ergo I'm in a world of pain after a regular workday.

I'd say auto-focus is a requirement for UX. Most users won't find the manual focus adjust button.

I wonder what they get out of this. Injecting ads perhaps?

Exactly. My experience is that the universe will just come up with a better fool.

We must not forget that most of us over here have affinity with technology to at least some degree.

We might manage just fine, but it's way above our grandparent's heads.

I just love how close the word seværdighed is to the dutch word: bezienswaardigheid.

Garmin uses them extensively in both their smart watches and handheld GPS devices like the GPSmap series. The displays are not very impressive as far as color reproduction or contrast goes, but the readability in bright sunlight is superb - way better than any LCD or OLED screen. Which is far more important for outdoor devices.

RE: revocation broken

Absolutely. Especially with the advent of protocols like ACME it just makes sense.

Here's a nice blogpost from smallstep (not affiliated) on this topic: https://smallstep.com/blog/passive-revocation/

The stupid thing is that this might be illegal in some jurisdictions. With any DRM scheme you'll end up having to break the law at some point in time to consume the content you legally purchased.
