Why would Apple launch its own Google? What's the business case of this? Searching on iOS is vastly different than searching on the internet.

Not surprising. Cloudflare is cancer.

Starlette, SQLAlchemy.

I feel like either there are organizational issues, or this guy micromanages. I report to a VP (Fortune 100) and even he has fewer meetings than this guy.

It's a well known fact that it's a red flag and you should move on to different direction if they mention they're like a family. Employment is a business relation based on a contract agreement of both parties. That's it.

I was interviewing with a company and was genuinely interested in the position until they mentioned they were like a family. Sent them a not interested email after the meeting.

What's floatplane? Hadn't heard of it. The website doesn't say much.

SQLAlchemy also does something similar. It points to relevant SQLAlchemy page for more information about the error.

There's also MeetingBar (https://meetingbar.onrender.com). Free and open source. Unlike these guys it doesn't collect data (https://meetingbar.onrender.com/privacy/).

Not sure if you know what you're talking about. Python has always been a strongly typed language.

> setting up kubernetes is as easy as "# apt install kubelet kubectl".

That's not even remotely accurate unless you run Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, GCP.

> straight out of kubernetes home page: "Kubernetes builds upon 15 years of experience running production workloads at Google".

Sounds like you need to read that sentence carefully. They never say they use Kubernetes.

It seems to me you're a Kubernetes fanboy.

We only use Python but we let Envoy to do the transcoding between gRPC and JSON. No issues.

"At Area 120, we work on 20% projects 100% of the time."

So this is some people's pet project that has no backing from Google. Given Google kills products (whose full time jobs) at any time, I wouldn't be surprised Google kills Tables before I finish this sentence.
