This was a nice unexpected surprise to get via email today... it's a nifty plan.

Entry level Dell servers that used to cost 1,700 US are now going for 17,000!!! I'm talking absolute basics with 16GB of memory etc. Wild times.

Yikes, that's a rough outlook. Not disagreeing with it, just poking at it a bit from a distance, and hoping that you experience a change in direction after a couple days.

He's never had alcohol due to a family with addiction problems, that's my understanding anyway. I kinda see your point though.

Some day, perhaps soon, YouTube may charge for serving content. A lot of folks will fork it over, and a lot more folks will scramble.

The 4Ks I've upgraded to are much lighter, much brighter, much much clearer, and make every second of entertainment that much better. They also use less power and cost a fraction of what my nice 1080p was like 10 years ago. I gift the old models to those that can't afford it. I'm excited for you to join the 4K club whenever you feel ready to make the leap!

I feel you in a sense that I have attention disorder. I tried the meds once and they are freakin amazing. I know what my mind is capable of on them now (2x-10x) but I'm also truly in love with my mind/body/soul as-is and won't cheat on them.

Heck, even most of what Microsoft designs/builds/releases is after-the-fact mind boggling un-user-friendly, and they are mostly working on their own and hugely deployed products with many years of real world experience already under their belt. And they still screw it up regularly! I don't readily know what one would call this phenomenon. Is it as serious as technical cancer? Dementia? If feels like a disease that is spreading to so many companies rather far, and fast. Perhaps the good news is that it should result in more competition, I think. Tall growth getting hit with beetles, ideally leaving behind fertile ground for something else?
