Also, unfortunately, a result that industry and the anti-regulation crowd will use to say microplastics are harmless.

Pick your poison.

“Take” sounds too threatening.

I love how the visual representation of that in TV ads always leaves a couple bacteria swimming around.

Maybe the restoration would have been a (or another) point of friction, and perhaps the project would not have gone well because of it. You could have sold for breakeven, or less. Then you (and/or she) would have blamed that as the reason things went south.

Or it could have gone well and you could have lost your share in a divorce.

I don't really have a point ... maybe, bygones and all ...

Inboxes don’t have to be digital. Inboxes, digital or physical, can be handled by other people.

In any case, someone beyond the publisher will still get inundated with corrections about the PDFs and likely will demand their reward for it.

About $340 for the full set of eBooks.

Also: "Please do not tell me about errors that you find in an eBook, whether it's PDF or not, unless the same errors are present in a printed copy; such mistakes should be reported directly to the publisher."

Glad he thought to mention this, but I suspect his inbox will still be inundated.

At least one UUID format has a time part that can be used for partitioning.

[this] appears as a link to a .li address, and that goes bad places.

There's a difference between easy to set up and (creating 25,000 lines of code to maintain so that we're) not having to set up anything.

I'd call it a net loss.

Bug in the "Draw on Graph Paper"/virtual graph paper? Change the grid to hexagon and make sure "snap to grid" is checked. Still snaps to the original square grid.

You can't tile regular pentagons. How will you specify the space be filled?

There's other pentagon tiling though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagonal_tiling
