The point I am taking away here is to never use Vercel's environment variables to store secrets.

Wicked. Who is your team?

I'm all for FOSS as well, but not sure I would have open sourced the commercial offering to begin with. Love the idea though, it's so bold.

What a pivot. I was thinking their investors may have some questions, thinking they were getting into sneakers and then finding that position is actually an investment in AI. Not good if you were trying to diversify but the 600% gain probably softens that for now.

Kind of reminds me of the dot com bubble stories though. 600% increase on what seems to be a plan at this time.

Something in me wants to buy every SBC and/or microcontroller that is advertised to me.

As someone who is leaning into this vibe coding thing recently, kind of interested to know the sentiment here. What was the tell? Like can you give line numbers or some reference. Feel like 100% certified organic code is a pretty high bar going forward.

Thanks. Yes, I would have to put myself in that category. Typical play here is to offer the self-hosted option. Not sure if that is in the pipeline for the creators of this. Then you are into that trust/operational overhead tradeoff conversation.

People are definitely desperate to show traction. Especially for a fledgling project pre-revenue. Maybe this was rhetorical, but I think the answer is yes, people do care when you use the stars to try put together some story about how great your project is and how much people love it.

Very cool project. Providing credentials agents and standardizing that whole process seems like valuable work. Question though on the OSS/paid boundary... is the OSS cli the client for the paid service? What is the custody model? Does this service store all my credentials?

Awesome, star.

Looks clean. I get the function immediately. What is the problem statement here? Genuinely curious to know from the creators.

Totally agree with this taking on projects of greater complexity. I honestly feel the sloppier code thing is going to die soon. People make mistakes too. Always see people holding the machine to like this totally different standard.

Maybe a bit of an odd one, but can you decorate the office? I'm wondering like have you abstracted the decor elements into something that is straightforward to extend? How easily could I give my office a new espresso machine or something?

Taking the shift left thing to it's logical conclusion, you have like everything automated and we risk forgetting we are building for people. At some point someone needs to use the thing with fresh eyes, and validate it is as advertised.

To be honest, the internal platform tooling has improved the most. I think (rightfully) people view these as less risky to just auto accept and find out issues later.
