I worked with a couple of the commercial alternatives to aspera and aspera as well and I used UDT, Tsunami, GridFTP, syncthing[1] as a poor mans alternative to Aspera.
For real transfer with big (> 500TB) Aspera will deliver what it says over WAN (over the Atlantic).
If you have better connections and not so much data syncthing will probably work if you can have someone manually take care of all exceptions.[2]
If you know your data and you can build quite a lot of stuff yourself you can get almost the same speed as Aspera with UDT.
There is also a go implementation of UDTs used by kcptun[3] but I haven't tried that.
2 I don't intend to disrespect syncthing here, but when your dealing with TB scale 24/7 things are never really up all the time, the network is unreliable, the sender host filesystem is corrupt and the receiver host filesystem is full or broken or ...
My understanding of this from older relatives was that question divided within the parties of the Parlament. This is usually solved in Sweden by postpone until every party sorts out there own standing. However, if that isn’t successful we have a advisory referendum that commits to nothing but will break some party deadlocks.
Everyone involved has to know the objective, which is a lot of more work than most people understand.

IMHO the tryhaskell expose more or less only simple pure functions and I doubt that anyone with a real interest in haskell will get any substantial out of it. However if one is completely new to programming maybe TryHaskell and these 6 short lessons have a value.
Swede here, 4 kids, all of them have been sleeping outside down to -15 C (at least).
1) The kids are dressed more like a astronaut, wool clothing, a isolated dungaree, stuffed inside a kind of extra isolated bag. One problem is that the kids turn to overheat if you don't undress them when going indoors.
2) Sweden is very rural, there is probably bad to sleep outside in Stockholm/Gothenburg compared to sleep outside the rest of the country.
3) Sleeping next to a street is probably a bad idea regardless temperature (the picture was taken in Copenhagen which is not in Sweden, and I didn't see any snow in the picture so no winter there)
4) Swedes are obsessed with safty but we tend not to calculate threat from other people as a safty matter. Around every kindergarten there are fencing keeping the kids inside but not to keep bad people out. That some evil person should take a child has the same threat level as if an alien should come by. There have been some cases of mentally-ill patients stabbing kids but that hasn't really changed anything.
5) There was someone in a thread calling out for Vitamin D. That's true enough but every single infant/kid in Sweden gets free Vitamin D anyway.
6) I think its a very cultural thing, my kids have slept longer outside, stuffed in that sleeping bag if its cold, than they ever do when napping inside. Swedes like to think of ourselves as very outdoor, into the wild, sports, activity and health so you as a parent are supposed to be outside a lot, if you have more kids some of them are going to be tired and take that nap, wherever you are.
The thing is that we (as a group in this thread) don't have a shared view what productivity is. That you feel more productive when you are allowed to interact with other fellow programmers maybe true or false. If you should deliver something in a short timespan that will allow your company to taker an order of 15M € and you get distracted by two junior programmers discussion C string concatenation I'm sure your Company owner would feel that you are 'not productive'.
Most people outside the programming pack consider turning time at work into money as productive. Programmers usually don't use that definition for productivity.
I agree. Demining for human/civilian is harder than just to clear a way for a military purpose. The thing with projects like this roller is that it actually takes money and time from the things that really work, like sniffer dogs.
I'm amazed that Oz surface up in this matrix. The number of people actually program in Oz for production purposes must be less than 100. It's a lovely language and I can miss somethings one could do in (Mozart)-Oz that I can't do in Haskell.
I kind of agree here but for real life working hard problems you need an OR that can code to make performance tweaks and adjust the algorithm in code. Maybe with some help from a programmer('hacker') as a mentor or code reviewer.
You could almost take any standard problem and learn to apply a simple standard OR approach and code it but when the shit hit the fan you must have someone to ask what makes the OR thing work/not work. A normal programmer isn't interested in this more low level thing of the OR side.
EDIT: Stop asking for top X if you really are trying to inspire more OR into more software. Most stuff in this world are done by mere mortals and not 1% of hackers. The true hackers of the world can probably already grok both malloc and TSP with timewindow constraints.
