Force software to be release publicly after an arbitrary period of time so it can be kept alive by people/ai who cares.

60 seconds of old school death..not sure its the best test. Sometimes the songs are constructed in a way to reach a climax point, usually way beyond the 60 second mark. Also, music of the metal kind is very much a product of its time. 2024 death metal releases would certainly feel different then the early 90s classic they played. Its like asking to rank thrash metal based on 80s release. The current thrash has evolved and is very different. And by the way, why death metal? Thrash and black are also very violent.

Tesla are priced like luxury cars. I don't want to pay that much, really.

Which medias? Here in canada the narrative I saw was "we suspect maybe, this one, maybe that one, but we don't know". I've followed the story for a while and there was no consensus, and more importantly no real evidence of anything.

Can't read much because paywall. China... you know their name means "the center" (or "the middle" if you prefer the inoffensive interpretation). The thing with a center is there can only be one, and very far east of Athens. They have struggled throughout the 20th century to establish that there is such a thing called "Chinese philosophy" as it would be a unified, logical, coherent body of knowledge. Ironically it was to measure up their national ego with the "Western philosophy" (the continuity of dialogue throughout centuries). Unfortunately for them, they don't measure up when using that yard stick. (They could measure using other ways than confrontation). Now it seems they've decide to beat that dead horse again but the new strategy is to deny the existence of Western philosophy? Like these guys existence meant so much anyway.. look at Plato, we're not even half sure what came from him or not. What matters is what's written and the continuous dialogue throughout history. They can say what they want but I can still read all these sources and participate in the dialogue if I want to. They can't have that.

"The World" aka USA. That old American thing of projecting its reality to the rest of the world. I mean, ok I get the point that its a global phenomenon but most of the projected consequences or hypothesized causes by the author are americanized conditions applied to the rest of the world..

In a big enough organization, it is a complex system with unpredictable outcome. Pouring your soul into it may lead to unexpected consequences as opposed to simpler environments where your contribution actually make a relative difference.

Don't hide behind "we", stand for yourself. I found this article very readable and I heard what the author had to say.

Ah fuck off, why are you picking on Canada suddenly. It has no relevancy whatsoever to that story.

I don't count the number of anecdotal instances of thinking "wow US is really like a third world country" -from your northern neighbor

I was refering to organically bound tritium (to food). This one takes longer to evacuate and can decay inside the body.

You'll be lucky if you can choose your own poison. It won't be the case for animals and people who might be affected by the shortcoming of nuclear power industry.

Banana don't have tritium in them. It's not a relevant comparison. Also, tritium doesn't penetrate the skin but can cause trouble when it binds in food nutrients and is absorbed through digestion. It will get in fish and people will eat that. This is not the first release TEPCO is doing and it won't be the last one. They lied so many times in the past that I don't trust them at all. All these little issues, they might compound you know...
