Google search is controlled by large (Chinese) botnets. Given that Google has >= 90% of the search market, the ball seems dropped right there. For instance, a botnet includes thousands of sites including xxxcommitted, pornsextube, qastack, thecouponholiday etc
getting pure co2 from the air is profitable, because it is used in soda etc. The challenge is to get it pure, but climate is a huge business opportunity
Empirical evidence: They would denounce citizenship and move to other countries. This happened in France with a wealth tax, which caused high net worth individuals to move to other countries (like Gérard Depardieu). You can see the same thing in other places of Europe, where citizens flock into Monaco, Jersey etc. The US is no different, plenty moved to Singapore, Cambodia, Monaco, Jersey and other places. The same is true for Chinese nationals and others.
Wealth can be used to influence political power, which can be used for good or bad (In the past billionaire Pablo Escobar was overthrowing the Colombian government, funding terror group FARC etc.). So it depends on what the billionaire wants, not democratic process.
It's because the botnet pages themselves contains data which Google considers spam (unrelated topics, link farms, ad pages, porn etc).
Google then lowers the rankings (or removes the blogs from Google). All they have to do is run an update script to update all the domains with the blog link, and Google lowers their rankings.
This botnet contains thousands of sites (so far I found this botnet includes 9000+ domains). The same botnet that's attacking my sites and thousands of others companies.
It may well be this is a foreign state cyber attack: so many sites are target and the 9000+ botnet domains to pay aren't free. No doubt this is costing governments lots of money.
When this botnet is attacking your site(s), it's goodbye to your blogging income. Sad but true.
Quality or best results is not the ranking factor anymore, it's large botnets that decide on the Google ranking.
Try Google disavow tool, it barely works, but at least it's something. I hope someday Google will fix this (ignore negative SEO), but for now this is the way things are.
You could be attacked by a spam network, making you lose over 50% traffic in 3 months.
There's lots of spam sites like twilightontheolympicpeninsula, codegrepper, everythingtutorial, bestappsfinder etc (everything dot com). The network that's attacking me has over 10.000 sites (you can discover their whole network using a backlink checker like ahrefs)
What can you do about these type of attacks? Nothing. The only way to mitigate this is the disavow tool, but it may take 4 weeks or longer for those domains to disappear. In the meantime, more and more of those spam sites are getting linked.
It is not a rare occasion either, I found the entire niche (and others) are getting these types of attacks. Changing the Google rankings of the entire niche.
So many of those spam domains are being added that no amount of content writing makes your rankings go up.
Reporting to hosting, police etc is useless. Why Google allows spam networks to decide the Google ranking is beyond me.
So what you should know about SEO is that it's unreliable. Spam networks decide the Google ranking now.
