If it's genuine this is part of the reason the money earned goes to the floor. Since there's always a lot of people jumping in the service to provide 'supply' that lowers earnings for those that use these services as their only income stream and/or have debt to pay back (to pay back the new vehicle to enable even being on those services).
This is so nasty in multiple levels, not only targeting (ok, Facebook prefers the verb 'connecting') possibly desperate people with false medical promises but also the fact that if a user clicks on the ad, the receiving website now for sure knows of your medical condition and can do as they please with that info.
Could be that they are not ready to support that amount of spike in traffic in their FaceTime services, so it's a way to limit it by not beefing up the cameras.
Can someone describe what is a 'senior'? This might be controversial but I see senior title promotions being thrown around just for retention reasons, could it be possible that once you start looking for another 'senior' role at another company they have different expectations of that title? Not to mention you can obtain a 'senior' title by mastering your team's code base and who knows if that knowledge is transferable to X team and Y company.
