Humans place a high value on fairness. Companies where employees feel like everyone is getting a fair opportunity consistently report more positive employee experiences.

Unfortunately, the companies doing this gain advantage for their apparent excellent service but often provide a poor customer experience. It just raises people's expectations which will not be satisfied and create the false idea that their competitors must be worse for their lower rating. This whole problem is damaging the market.

Bitcoin's value is an illusion. Mostly because it seems like a good way to avoid the government's control of wealth, but taxes on bitcoin transactions would destroy this illusion and consequently the value of the currency. The collapse is inevitable. The only question is how much damage it will do in the meantime; the more power it gobbles up, the more it hurts the planet. We have to stop burning massive amounts of energy to store and transfer value.
