Programmers work on trains too, you know. Some of the busiest metro lines in the world are fully automated, pretty sure that code is held to a higher standard than some shitty YouTube feature.

Can't help but notice all the Aramco ads during the world cup.

"Who could have foreseen this would happen?"

France has higher prices than several EU countries.

Spain in particular has low prices thanks to their solar and wind, and the Nordics thanks to hydro.

This will be great for their customer service, now they'll have a new excuse for losing your package.

EU member *countries" certainly do, but that's true of all countries that have the ability.

If anything the EU puts limits on what EU member countries and companies can do. By hosting in one of the EU countries you have stronger legal guarantees on data privacy than in any other area. A possible exception is Switzerland (not a EU member), which historically has had even stronger privacy laws, though these have been weakened recently IIRC.

Lots of games run just fine on Wine. Those that don't, usually work on Steam/Proton.

The restrictions are a good fit for children under 16.

As a parent you want to be able to reach them, and they want to reach their friend.

And as a parent you not want them waste their minds on YouTube garbage.

It shows that you don't need to know how to code to succeed in this type of project.

As someone who does know how to code, I find the approach to be great, as it can motivate others to try similar projects.

That any of this needed I would consider a form of social failure, a path to a future where only corporate entities can own anything.

Much respect for the hacking. Clawing back some freedom in a world determined to take it away.

The developer is "Ascensio System SIA", and they are located in Riga, Latvia.

Why the mention of Russian developers?

You mean the "US-Israel war of aggression against Iran"?

Let's not avoid assigning responsibility when it is so clear.

By that logic all sorts of technical and scientific terms would be "meaningless".

Seems like playing semantics, to not say disingenuous, using "meaningless" to mean "unknown", when the former clearly has a negative connotation.

> Weight gain has basically happened across the whole developed world

Could it be that maybe, maybe, there is a link to this and the subject of the paper being discussed?

It's absolutely not a meaningless term, it's a classification in the Nova standard:

And regarding health risks, please ask your doctor about your consumption. You may be surprised.

I'm seeing quite a bit of request for these on my work's GitBook documentation site.

But perhaps these are developers specifically targeting these pages to feed whatever LLM they are using.

But nah, I'm sure OP doesn't know about CDNs.

Linux are also more likely to contribute bug reports and crash dumps.

Security conscious doesn't mean not getting involved with the community and helping useful projects.

You can try running in gamescope, although in my experience Wayland has not been an issue. The few games I have that gave me problems in Wine didn't work any better when using an X11 session.
