Am I wrong for stating that a social mediate is basically trying to say nothing happened to get more "atta-boys" from the social media empire at large?

I mean what you focus on is what has power. Social media doesn't deserve the power or respect that academia has, nor will it ever.Enforce social media to be purely academic and I might feel differently.

This sounds a lot like "click fraud" only this time "search fraud".

Sounds like Google is trying to dominate one more market. I'm sure they

1) wouldn't mind being the middle man of one more thing 2) continue to transmit travel plans and would be plans to whoever wants to pay.

Google is an advertising and information company.

So you mean to tell me there was an immigration crisis in Germany with only 500 thousand people? Germany must be the most backwards nation in the world, if this is true.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2018/07/03...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_migrant_crisis#/media...

Especially when you tell me they are a strong nation of 80M people. They can't even tolerate a measly <1% immigration before hateful bigots begin to protest.

You've really shed a light to me on how extremely bigoted Europe really is! I don't think I'll ever visit that awful place for the rest of my life.

Let alone buy things! We shouldn't buy a single thing from Europe ever again! Thank you, good sir!

What other nations are this bigoted besides these awful nations? I've heard that many nations in the middle east don't accept refugees at all. Is this true? And what about all of Asia?? There really is so much hate in all the world.

What if suddenly you have 30 times the number of people at every single internet cafe? Also people with less housing availability use their phones more on average not less, because making ideal housing arrangements on a daily to subdaily basis takes time. Willing to be wrong here but last time I looked, DSL was also driven by an oversubscription sales model, meaning they oversell the product and then try to keep ahead of the curve. Perhaps you've never been homeless so you don't realize these things.

There's no evidence that law enforcement took any action till afterwards, and on multiple occasions. So is the medium to blame or is the clear lack of policing?

I'll get hate for this, but whenever things like cell service are suddenly shared with millions of people more, the connectivity is stressed out. Companies like AT&T spend at least 1.5 years from the planning of a tower to it's completion, so reliable growth models are required.

Sudden population influxes produce problems.

Tis true. No one NEEDS free speech. Why don't you just state the obvious opinion? The First amendment was a mistake.

That is entirely my point. Thank you.

On the other hand, we're already in cages. The difference is that in modern society, nobody realizes they are caged.

That makes all the difference.

Just summing up the paradigm of needing to control the masses by preventing people from doing things that people will inevitably do. You can't stop people from talking.

You can stop people from talking publicly.

People will break and do harm to others, but having a vehicle to know what that harm might be in advance is invaluable.

You could simply say that threat actors that are allowed to post in the open are much more accessible and predictable than ones who do not.

Why is this surprising? Youtube has become the gatekeeper, not the facilitator of new and exciting video tech.

There is no new twitter until the corruption involved in twitter is taken to a head. Any technology will never improve the lousy policy and posturing that they do as a company.

I got rid of my first post college car 2 years ago. I had that car 15 years, so I definitely beat the odds. I've never understood the desire for a car to be more than a source of transportation. Some people seem insistent on extending their sexuality with a car. Others feel that having a different cars makes them a better person, but these are just externalities. I feel like the bigger reason students leave the US and shirk responsibility is because they can.

They took a degree that doesn't pay as much as they'd expect, or maybe they are just poor planners that don't care about the future. These are exactly the types that you would expect to take on high risk behaviors for smaller rewards. There's nothing wrong with that, except for claiming that it was the only option they had. Certainly they (and many others) have plenty of options. Some have the habit of making poor decisions until they paint themselves into a corner.
