Had no idea this was invented before me :D It works wonderfully, even with too vague ideas or concepts and retains even after 20 or something years. You can start working on something and return to it later. When I think about some topic, like hardware or about a set of vague topics, I'm being automatically teleported to a specific place I'm familiar with, or have been there at least couple of times.

Gluing together libraries and dealing with dependencies. There are few well written libraries that just work, like axios. Especially in React Native, looking for a library is like looking for scrap part in a flea market or in a junk yard.

I would add to the list: 1) Full sized up and down arrow keys. 2) Instead of regular thermal paste, they should use something like "cryosheet thermal grizzly" 3) thin heatpipe soldered to the chassis placed in the place where the most heat comes out of the chassis, so the heat spreads evenly 4) Remove the notch 5) Make ssd replaceable 6) Spill resistant keyboard 7) Oled screen 8) rotary dial like in Asus pro art 9) Apple pencil works with touchpad 10) Dunno, random idea: ability to listen to music via haptic engine for deaf persons

It seems there is an error in the 3rd example. The rule is, take each figure from left to right and stack each under the previous one. For L and J shapes the top cell is stripped. The L shape dictates that the next shape will be shifted one cell to the right, the J shape tells the next figure to shift to the left. If all examples are right, then the rule is more complicated than that, involving rotating L clockwise, J counterclockwise. Authors claim that it should be solvable by children, then the rule must be simple.

I’ll add to the comments: Whatever you decide to do, don’t be too picky. Choose something and get started. In the begginig avoid lengthy courses or books; start with something small but read it to the end. Be patient and consistent, and don’t rush. Also I would recommend to watch a youtube video: Harvard CS50 (2023) – Full Computer Science University Course

Maybe we should replace plastic with aluminium where possible and reusable glassware

I had the same problem my entire life, but recently doing much better. It seems several factors overlap and make myself turing complete procrastinator. The few of factors: adhd, too much interests, perfectionism, too much gestalts, multithreaded thinking, colorful n-dimensional infinite imagination, bored too easily, easily exhausted, flashes of "genius" ideas, lack of discipline, and so on, the easiest solution is just medication and completely giving up on everything, every project and just doing very few things and nothing else

Most likely for 0 days, then no one would be able to for decades or centuries, because there will be other much more important priorities. There will be unaffected countries, but they won't do much because supply chain for advanced stuff intertwines the whole world. People would reuse again and again scrap parts and old computers, z80 cpu would outlive everything else. There will be all sorts of flee markets for things like that. I grown up in post soviet crash, I've seen a lot of stuff, local postapocalypse basically, and how people, economy, society adapt and behave in such circumstances.

Vision Pro should be at least twice as lightweight, cost half as much, have double the battery life, and twice the graphical performance. The technology is not there yet. Achieving these may require 1nm, photonics, graphene batteries, metalenses, and other advanced stuff, which could be feasible in 3-5 years. A little bit too early. But hey, everyone should start somewhere, and by that time there will be a dosen killer apps, good chance to success in the long term.

Well, as I understand it: imagine there is a world consisting of only 20 numbers: 34, 56, 79, 11, 32 and so on. With that 20 numbers we can describe that world, its current state, we can replicate it. And there is a creature that lives in that world, we can describe it with three numbers, and the world numbers contains that numbers of the creature. Now imagine, it turns out the world does not consist of 20 numbers, but of billions of numbers, imagine how many exact copies of that creature in that world of billions of numbers just by accident, and maybe even exact or almost exact copies of that world of 20 numbers.

I was pondering too, and I assume, (not necessarily se do that) 1) Cute, it's analogous to cats, people love cute thing and show them everyone else 2) They want to be perceived cute. Hey look i'm not seeking conflicts, i'm just a little cute thing hehe. 3) Real world is boring, lemme frame the perceived image of myself into the world i like 4) Childhood was more interesting anf full of adventure, no responsibilities 5) Colorful things more stimulating and appear richer to the eye 6) Seeking for socialization and for communication with like minded people: hey if you like the pic, then you're in my circle already

I one form or the other I believe there is everything, just burried under piles of crap. Nowadays search engines are just broken, they don't find anything.

There are couple of things I couldn't find recently. Maybe couple business ideas for ya.

1. How to stop procrastinating instantly and easily, maybe it should be an app? 2. Everything in one torrent. (You just click, 500GB downloading and done) What if you're planning 100 years trip to another star. Or what if you're trying to start the civilization from the beggining? It should have at least wiki 100gb + llm + couple of books + offline maps etc

I always put the topics list first, about which I'm going to ask. For example: "html, css. How to center a div?" This doesn't change things on simple topics like in the example, but helps in more complicated scenarios.

So often, there is so much unnecessary packaging, box in the box, in the bag in the bag in the box, I wouldn't mind if a product or food is packaged much simpler
