I think there are definitely people who don’t want her to exist but there are also ones like me, who get called Nazis for it, but whose perspective is largely 1) OK 2) please pay for your own costs related to your choices and 3) I’m not being an asshole to you because you’re a black trans woman, I’m being an asshole to you because I am an asshole and my white male friends say “oh Xxx is such as asshole.” So don’t take it personally
Important to note that it was on a manual typewriter. The key is making it slow, so you can observe how the author is doing what they're doing. Reading is very fast ... typing on a manual typewriter is slow enough to give you time to observe.
But wouldn't that feedback loop work the other way too? That there's someone saying "as more toxic liberal garbage gets reshared, conservatives start ditching Facebook"? Leaving just the people who enjoy screaming at each other?
There are more kinds of weird issues than a poorly spec’d CPU. Scratched traces, shorts caused by something touching something it’s not supposed to, etc.
I didn’t know that the prebuilt market had gotten so competitive. Only a $400 premium to build, water cool, and warranty the damn thing? It’s a bargain.
All of this is stupid. For kids too young to distance learn, group them in fours or sixes and send them to one of the family’s houses to spend all day doing whatever the fuck they want. You’re not going to teach them math over Zoom.
I don’t think distance learning should exist for kids under 12 or so. Pandemic has shut schools? Have them group into pods of 6 and go to a different family’s house every day and just play.
Apple built iMessage and FaceTime to move Apple devices. Why would or should they open it? Not to mention, it is probably tied into the hardware at a deep level — it clearly works much better on more modern phones, and better on iOS than MacOS.
