> AI is about right 1% of the time

just write another prompt

edit to say:

One of the best skills for developers is to lookup information using search engines. All the information is out there already you just need an understanding what you are looking for. This is similar to painting the colors are there already but not everyone is a good painter. LLMs empower skilled developers and do the boilerplate work usually done by mediocre developers. Later on it will depend on who can write the best prompt but that requires understanding.

> If you are dependent on imports for half your food supply and I am able to choke off your imports…

Yes, that is a tough position to be, very hard to defend against that... goes something like don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Yes I agree, those are crucial. But if I have the right information I can produce food cheaper, faster than others that don't have the same info, I can locate water if I am informed where it is. With the right info I can generate energy cheaper and more efficiently than others who don't have access to the same info.

I meant more like in bitcoin how the miners get paid for mining, or how validators are rewarded in proof of stake blockchains. This techniques can be used to incentivised seeders.

Incentivising seeding is hard. Maybe cryptocurrencies can be useful here, but I understand not everyone likes them especially here on HN. In retrospect the ideal setup would have been if archiving was included into the core HTTP protocol.

It is not my original idea, but it is an obvious idea to anyone who knows how the internet works, I just added it to get the discussion going.

It would be better if the Internet Archive was decentralized without a central point of failure, maybe run on something like bittorent.

I started doing "art" about 4 years ago. Don't think about it as learning to do art, just do it as much as possible and don't get attached to the individual pieces. Realize that art has absolutely no rules, make use of that inherent freedom. Try out different mediums, create your own "style". Post your art, it can help you improve and track your progress.
