It is a red water business, and no one will ever want to switch off from multiple years of game investment.

It reminds me of the US army and their fabulous idea to open a Twitch channel. Went as well as you expect.

Roblox commercialized that excitement. Kids now work directly for them and pretty much for free.

"No officer, I am just using this AR-15 as a walking stick. A gun is neutral isn't it?"

Accuracy isn't always the point of video game emulators since gaming experience is a subjective thing. Most of old games were crippled by the limitations of the hardware their run on. Inaccuracies can very much improve the experience, like removing sprite limits, displaying wider aspect ratios or in this case improving sound interpolation.

We just have to define what an "error" is first, good luck with that.

Considering "jpeg" has become the shorthand for "digital picture", it would be a shame not to capitalise on it.

GTA6 is most likely the most anticipated cultural product of all times. Unfortunately, sensationalization makes perfect sense from news websites perspective.

Country specific subs aren't better either. They slowly changed from comfy places to talk about laid back topics to a full on brigaded cesspool where only the most polarizing opinion thrive.

Because ad blocking isn't provided by default in Firefox. It isn't as opinionated as Brave, for the better and the worse.

Those games are a grain of sand in the infinite desert that is the indie game world. The vast majority of indie games on Steam are barely even noticed by anyone.

Huh huh, he could have just said "PRs are welcome" then. This is a window manager, no need to be weird by being this specific.

It is when those anticheats gatekeep the most popular PC games. For most gamers, they can't compromise on what they play and there is still a very large amount of potential games that would forbid a switch to another OS. See : https://areweanticheatyet.com/

You over estimate the will/knowledge of everyday people to do anything else than buy a branded PC, install Steam and be done with it.

Little known fact, the original DS touch screen is pressure sensitive. I don't know of any games using this feature, but the Colors homebrew does use it! So the DS was a fairly convenient digital art machine for its time.

I wonder why everyone keep saying "just put more VRAM" yet no cards seem to do that. If it is that easy to compete with Nvidia, why don't we already have those cards?

LLM can create new things, since their whole purpose is to interpolate concepts in a latent space. Unfortunately they are mostly used to regurgitate verbatim what they learned, see the whole AI Ghibli craze. Blame people and their narrow imagination.
