FFI is harder if the target lib doesn't have a C interface.

I feel I'm forced to reach for FFI if I want to do anything graphical e.g Wayland or OpenGL. Otherwise it's optional

Are they still using YUI?

I left because it felt like updates never happened; they just lost or reset my cost basis for my three years worth of investment tracking at the time; and it was now owned by a company hostile to tax-payer convenience.

It felt great to leave.
