Do lawyers work in front of laptops always? I used to be in consulting so I know sizable time had to be spent while away from my laptop. Just curious how lawyers work.
If H1B is banned or becomes effectively useless, many companies will go for the worst scenario. Even now, big tech companies have been investing on their offshore dev centers. H1Bs pay taxes and spend their money here.
That would be a quite naive solution for the owner of the goods. The owners do not have to pay anything essentially. Hanjin is still responsible to unload the goods at any cost (e.g. selling their ships to someone else).
