This question is way too broad. What is your purpose? What specifically are you scraping, (ie images, text, audio, video)? Please expand

can we stop saying/writing "formerly known as twitter" - please?! Also, Starlink is overcoming this without an issue.

Great write up and description of the experience, even if it's closed. I enjoyed the details for each day, the actors, theatrics, detailed missions, etc. But still, the experience itself is way too expensive

They are not doing their reputation any favors and their legal team needs to rethink this strategy. The arbitration clause in the subscription agreement is not meant to cover these types of tort actions. Hope they reverse this course asap

You have to love the US justice system. Punk ass rapists get off on 500 bail, declared innocent folks wrongfully convicted get to die in prison.

Not so much innovative as history repeating itself (slightly) with a lot of $$ going to AI tech startups that are not always proprietary systems. Bubble looming IMO

TikTok is not news. No, it's not why the government wants it banned. Read up on how it works, what info it collects, what it processes, and sends back to mother China.

No guarantee but you can add legal language in the license text specific to your code associated with the license that restricts use of the OSS for training models, using code in running models, etc.

To say this was deliberate is very irresponsible. Sadly, civilians, volunteers, and aid workers find themselves in the crossfire of conflicts, including thousands of civilians killed by US forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, or in the Ukraine invasion by Russia. These outcomes are part of the atrocities and horrors of war. But to say IDF did this deliberately is appalling.

I think it's a recruiters network and for others, it's 60% job search, 15% network, 15% social, and 10% learning

Arguing against this is like arguing having certain "tools" in your trunk are not burglary tools when precedent has established them to be depending your circumstance, place of inquiry, time, etc. Stupid article
