But Reddit is exceptionally bad at this though. It's basically about what sounds the most positive for the upvoter's way of thinking rather than anything else.

Community Notes could just be an expansion of a good tweet to clear up some ambiguity.

The up/down feature tends to create echo chambers that eventually exclude half the population. Reddit is worse at this because of excessive moderation combined with doomscrollong incentives.

Essentially any issue that relates to politics or geopolitics tends to have a strong left wing bias, as if it is written from the perspective of the left wing against the right wing.

Apart from how most internet companies get worse when money comes into play.

I find that most of social media went south around the time of Trump's election and the heavy partisan moderation that followed it.

Quora further seems to have been taken over by Chinese paid writers.

The vast majority of science papers are created with a solution in mind that's looking for a problem. Someone pays for an intended outcome and they work their way towards it.

There is actually some truth in the idea that developed countries suffer from more social awkwardness than developing countries. If you compare the north east coast to southern states, richer northern European countries to the poorer southern European countries, or urban areas to rural areas. A similar thing also plays out in East Asia where more developed countries tend to has more complaints about social awkwardness than less developed countries.
