Even beyond the aesthetic problem with the cities being car centric by default is the lack of realistic parking issues. I don't know about mods and DLC but in the original you can get by with designs that would be totally unreasonable in reality because they would require massive underground parking to look how they do.

Higher capacity optical storage is under development (see https://foliophotonics.com/ for example). My guess is that it's just hard to beat tape or justify upgrading/modifying existing optical disk readers.

The selling point now isn't that is a temporary storage solution that happens to last long like CDs and DVDs. I'm sure you have to make a pretty good case to get a customer to switch their high reliability data storage to a novel format.

I do hope it can eventually come back though.

I don't blame the sender for the annoyingness of this as much as the notifications. No chat platform I've ever used automatically mutes the notifications for a few minutes when the rate hits >5 notifications in a minute.

Maybe I've missed the feature hidden somewhere? I'd really appreciate it for group chats in particular. I need to know there's a discussion, I don't need my phone to notify me for every single message.

I find it kinda hilarious that you all seen to be discussing some sort of cutting edge or controversial idea called "quantum theory" or "quantum physics", when I have to assume you're taking about century old theories of quantum mechanical systems like ones that continue to help design the electronics that you read this piece of shit article on.
