I remember watching him lie to the world at the UN in the build-up to the US war of aggression against Iraq.

It was a disgrace. America disgraced itself. Not just by lying, but by doing it so stupidly and openly. I decided then that I would never believe anything again that came from this class of people or their ilk.

When a person dies, their family deserves compassion for their bereavement. Fine, they have mine.

This guy himself, on the other hand, was an utter disgrace. He lied because they told him to lie, and then they murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and destroyed a country. None of them have ever been held to account, nor will they be.

Shame on him and shame on his country.
