Ask HN: Books on Logistics?
Here are a few:
- Sun Tzu The Art of War
- Stephen Ambrose D-Day: June 6, 1944
- Fred Brooks The Mythical Man Month
- Kim, Behr, & Spafford The Phoenix Project
- Gene Kranz Failure is not an Option
- Acemoglu & Robinson Why Nations Fail
Some astute HN'ers may note not all of these directly relate to supply chains and logistics: but they all touch on aspects of logistics - especially on underlying assumptions that different societal norms will have on how you view the field

I agree with your view, but I have not studied warfare conventionally.
Logistics is mostly common sense in practice, I feel, but understanding dynamical chaos helps. You live off the land.
Amazon is simply the best at recruitment, their sticker logistics have gone overlooked it seems.

Wether you're a CEO of a huge company or a general leading an army, you need to be super organized and efficient in order to succeed.
I was wondering if there are any books that I can read to have a deeper understanding of the work involved in logistics, or how - if you're Bezos/Musk/Napoleon - can you manage to be so organized to lead so many people in order to achieve a common goal?
