AI is killing so many jobs and all we get for it is higher efficiency for owners.
Which jobs have been killed?
I would have read that article but my lawyer told me it’s missing the cookie opt out button so I opted out of the site to stay safe.
Meanwhile in Canada we have yet another lawyer failing to double-check what ChatAI hallucinates up.
At least - so far! - these issues are being caught by opposing counsel or judges doing fact-checking themselves, and utterly failing to find the cases cited. But still. AI might be “cheaper” than a good research assistant, but so far it’s failing rather publicly at the job.
