It looked like Rosenbaum chased him for like 10 seconds while Rittenhouse was running away, threw something at him, and they're going to argue that in the last single second before the shooting he possibly raised his rifle in a grainy video where the question of pixels is an issue?
That seems weak but I guess the prosecution needs something.
I think anyone should be able to do what makes them happy on a legal basis so I would fight for your right to transition... your body, your choice. As a human it's your natural right as John Locke would say.
However I don't even remotely understand what you're going through emotionally/mentally well enough help you on a personal level and I don't understand the physiology and medical implications of transitioning.
However, I truly hope you figure out what makes you happy and wish you the best of luck.
Think about inflation increasing at 3% annually on average, with no accompanying deflation, and with no accompanying increases in wages for most of the population.
A dollar is presently worth half as much as in 1990. A 100,000 a year job in 1990 is equivalent to a 50,000 a year nowdays.
Every year the noose gets slightly tighter, the slack is slightly reduced, the competition is slightly increased, society become slightly more cutthroat, people are forced to do slightly crazier and crazier things to make ends meet and sacrifice their morals just a little bit more, work just a few more hours to make the same money.
Then new generations are born into a world that's much more competitive than their parents world 20 years previous, and start out thinking this level of competitiveness and craziness is normal.
And the water in the frog pot inter-generationally continues to get hotter.
We're literally on a slow unstoppable pathway to a third world country and no one even realizes it.
>> However, the (imperfect) experts say that the vaccines are way safer than contracting covid unvaccinated.
False. SOME (imperfect) experts say this.
SOME experts say taking an unknown vaccine for a healthy person in an age group that is not at risk of Covid is creating an unnecessary (unknown) vaccine risk for themselves especially considering the vaccines are made by profit driven companies that haven't been particularly human welfare focused in the past.
>>They started experimenting with the coronavirus vaccines back in 2003
Thalidomide is based off of benzodiazepens which had been developed over a hundred years before Thalidomide was invented.
Still made unexpected flipper babies.
Have you even made a tiny tweak in a code base and the whole thing broke?
Now apply this to a biochemical system which is infinitely more complex.
Yet with that knowledge you have come to the conclusion that the mRNA vaccine is perfectly safe after being developed in 6 months and tested in humans for only a year-ish?
If you're referring to anything related to Covid there's no well-established scientific consensus it literally just happened around year and a half ago it's impossible to have scientific consensus.
Even the most respected scientists are saying they don't know about a lot of things related to covid.
also well-established scientific consensus is not an ideal goal post .
Galileo was excommunicated.
Labotomies won the Nobel prize.
Nothing is certain in life when human beings are involved no matter how comforting that thought is. There is only a narrative of certainty.
I'm tired of people pretending that everyone on the planet is expendable except Americans.
There are elderly people dying in other countries and perfectly healthy Americans are lining up for the vaccines and acting righteous about saving granny when the reality is they're doing it in their own self-interest.
So to clarify, the government was, as the other poster says, corrupt about the vaccine...but you trust them to make the right decision about lockdowns?
I think one difference between liberal minded and conservative-minded people is their version of the future.
Liberals idealistically look to the future and say what if!
Whereas, conservatives pessimistically look to the future and say what if!
Human nature seems to corrupt any system that exists so I don't know if a system exists that can both accommodate human nature and also spread equality better than capitalism.
Slatestar Codex did an interesting look at it. The entire thread is worth a read. It's taken a little out of context as he's just joking and playing around with numbers but still interesting to think about.

Suppose you reopened the economy tomorrow. You tried as hard as you could to put profits above people, squeezed every extra dollar out of the world regardless of human cost. And then you put a 1% tax on all that economic activity, and donated it to effective charity. Would that save more people than a strict lockdown? If a lockdown costs $5 trillion, then the 1% tax would make $50 billion. That’s about how much the Gates Foundation has spent, and they’ve saved about ten million lives. Ten million is higher than anyone expects US coronavirus deaths to be, so as far as I can tell this is a good deal.

To help with the real time, could maybe add a layer of hot caching or the user could submit a batch job. if one fails, it's not blowing up the request.
The entire state of Texas lifted all Covid restrictions around March? Had only 16% vaccination rates and had record low levels of Covid infections for 6 months up until recently with apparently the Delta variant.
So don't understand why actual reality contradicts this paper.
If you tell me that millions of Texans followed social distancing rules on their own without a citation, it will be humorous.
The scariest part to me is that there's not even a hint of curiosity in their minds about what they're putting in their bodies and the changes in society happening. If there was they would be a little more open to questioning the narrative because if they even did a little digging they would see things arent black and white as presented.
Bill Maher is liberal and HES questioning this stuff.
This kind of authoritarian mentality has always led to negatives places for humankind.
Less than 50% of people have taken the full vaccine in America.
I've used Google drives 'Save as pdf' feature where you can take a photo with your phone and it will be turned into a pdf. Prob lower resolution that yours but it's been working for me for a while.
But other wise...follow the same process.
Almost 99% paper free, no filing cabinets, no losing papers.
